Why choose to study at Lambda?
Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts has been established since 2008. With a panel of world class artists, teachers and administrators, and we have successfully helped countless students achieve their potential. We help them reach their goals!
Whether you plan to start by exploring music and arts lessons, continue your journey in developing your skills in a musical instrument, or look to face the full challenges of music performance (examinations, auditions, competitions) - we have the right program for you.
Unlike many conservatories and institutions, which select students based on their current performance achievements - at Lambda, we do not select our students. Rather, we provide the most effective and efficient pedagogical approaches to nurture our students from beginner levels to concert levels at an accelerated pace.
At Lambda, our success rates for CEGEP and University auditions, RCM examinations, national and international competitions is 100%.
Not only do we have a track record of great success in helping students achieve and feel rewarded, but we have way surpassed their expectations! We help our students love music and fly with it! We helped serious students enter top musical institutions like Eastman School of Music, New England Conservatory, Manhattan School of Music, Peabody Institute of Music, McGill University, and other major universities in North America.
Our goal is not to train young concert artists exclusively - though many of them have achieved a high performance level within a very short duration of study. Rather, we hope to develop in our students a sense of grit, purpose, diligence, stamina, focus, dedication, commitment and work ethics. Growing up with these positive attitudes enable students to extrapolate their learning approaches to their academic studies and future endeavours, thereby helping them achieve success in life.
We also emphasize on the importance of giving back to society. Our prize winning students perform annual funding raising concerts for the Montreal Children Hospital (100% donation) and for senior homes, with the aim of sharing their passion for music while serving a good cause. This way, young students learn the importance of social responsibility from a young age.
It is our mission to cultivate younger learners into good human beings, who love to share, and give back to society through their journey of musical learning.
